Shibori Indigo Workshop

Shibor Indigo Samples

Shibor Indigo Samples

At the weekend I went over to Rockland Allsaints to Marion Baker’s studio.

Here Marion and Sally Mills showed us lots of different Shibori techniques.

Once the Indigo vats were mixed, left to stand, we then dipped our fabrics.

We had a lovely day with lunch in the garden.

We had to leave our samples wrapped up for a few days to cure

and these are mine, unwrapped, washed and drying on the line.

I am really pleased with the results.

Thank you so much,

Marion and Sally so much for a lovely workshop.

This photograph was taken by Alan Miller a photographer for The Kings Lynn News.

Thank you to Alan and the Editor for such a nice article.
