I have been fasinated with seashells since I was a child and developed many forms of artwork around them.

This A3 Shell wallhanging is a mixed media piece combining textile techniques and digital transfer.

Shell Machine Stitched Textile Sample
I drew the design on fine weight interfacing first and then placed this on the back of the fabric. Working from the back straight and free machine stitched onto the the design on the interfacing. I went round the design three times for definition and to add sketch type details.

Holly smokes! I have to say, your blog has to be one of the most well written blogs that I have seen in a long time.What I wouldn’t give to be able to write posts that are as mind grabing| as yours.
