Houghton Hall, Norfolk

Skyspace, Houghton Hall

Skyspace, Houghton Hall

Today Stewart and I visited Houghton Hall.

A Palladian Mansion set within an award winning Garden, sculpture, museum and

deer park.

Houghton Hall was built by Sir Robert Walpole,Britain’s first Prime Minister.

We were impressed with the sculpture within amazing gardens but

John Turrel’s art work ‘Skyspace’ is so inspiring and contemplative space within it’s woodland setting.

The visit to Houghton Hall  has inspired some ideas for some more sculpture in our garden,

 so watch this space.

See my blog for some more of our visit and sculptures of Houghton Hall.
