Toxic Stack Sculpture

Toxic Stack Sculpture

I use 3D concepts within sculpture to develop my ideas of a theme further than my 2D works. The works often expand into mediums I haven’t used before or ones I want to experiment with. I use many different mediums for sculpture, wire, clay metal, wood, plastics, latex and textiles, often in combination.

I love the installation process.

Freedom for a Quilt Sculpture

Freedom for a Quilt Sculpture

This is a metal and wood sculpture which was inspired by Indian textiles and 16th Century Crewel Work Embroidery.
The metal has been etched and burnished. It sits in the small privet garden at Quilters Cottage.

I often combine traditional style textiles, which in themselves combine traditional and contemporary medias with installation techniques to render the combination different!
